Mercuria is an interactive audio-visual project created using the Unity game engine. It features a series of generative digital sculptures created using a combination of LIDAR scanned point clouds and particle systems. Each sculpture is set to its own procedural evolving sound track that treads a line between avant-garde music and sound design. The constantly shifting and evolving nature of the piece ensures that no two viewings will look or sound quite the same.
Designed and realised as part of a larger creative computing framework that has expandability as a central focus, my vision for the work has been to have it a living artwork that will continue to develop and grow with each iteration.
